Before starting with the recipe of the nice-cream, we have to keep a few things in mind:

  1. Remember to freeze the bananas at least the night before. the nice-cream won’t happen if the bananas aren’t completely frozen.

  2. Make sure to have a high-speed blender or food processor that can handle the frozen bananas.

  3. Even if it looks impossible at first, the bananas will blend completely and make a cream. You just need to be patient and keep blending and give time to the machine to rest.

Now that we’re approaching the warmer months, it’s a good idea to keep a few bananas in the freezer to be ready whenever you have a craving ๐Ÿ™‚

Metodo:

  1. The night before of making the nice-crema, peel and cut the bananas.
  2. Put them in a freezer bag and freeze overnight.
  3. Now it’s time to make the energy balls. Put all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse for a few seconds.
  4. Stop and scrape the sides using a spatula.
  5. Pulse the food processor for a few more seconds until you have a sticky consistency but you can still see chunks of almonds and oats.
  6. Use your hands to create medium-sized balls and put them in the fridge.
  7. The morning after, take the banans out of the freezer and put them in a food processor or high-speed blender.
  8. Pulse the food processor for a few seconds and scrape the sided using a spatula.
  9. Repeat until you reach a creamy and smooth consistency. (it looks impossible at first, but I assure you that if you’re patient and you keep going the magic will happen!)
  10. When the nice-cream is ready, add the spirulina and blend one more time.
  11. Serve in a bowl with the energy balls on top and enjoy before it melts.
